                  the tour is perfect for  rst-time visitors and e-bike users; the local guide provides pre-departure explanations
                  about the island and e-bike instructions.  e tour is  exible, accommodating the visitor’s preferences and pace.

                where you can explore the island on an e-bike. When booking, please include a
                note in the "Message" section on the Geo Tour website booking inquiry form indi-
                cating that you wish to use an e-bike.

                                      Japanese Cultural Experience

                                      (Calligraphy and Outdoor Tea Ceremony)


                                        Dynamic yet tranquil, the Oki Islands UNESCO Global Geopark o ers the perfect setting for
                                        anyone looking to explore Japanese culture. On this tour, guests can enjoy cycling round-trip on
                                        an e-bike (electric-assist mountain bike) to their choice of geo-spot location, where they will have
                                        the opportunity to experience Japanese calligraphy and a matcha tea ceremony. Five geo-spot
                                        locations, each containing nature, history and culture that is sure to inspire their creativity, are
                                        available to choose from: Akiya Coast, Mt. Kinkōji, Seisui Temple (Tengawa-no-mizu Spring),
                                        Oki Shrine, or Uzuka-mikoto Shrine. A er  nishing their works of art, guests are welcome to
                                        take their calligraphy home as fascinating souvenirs for themselves or their friends and family.

                                                       *Due to the size of e-bike frames, this guided tour is
                                                       recommended for persons 159 cm or taller. When booking,
                                                       please inform the guide if you would prefer not to have wagashi
                                                       (traditional Japanese confections) during the Japanese cultural experience.
                                                       In case of inclement weather, the e-bike tour will be replaced by a tour of
                                                       Entô’s geopark exhibition area and Ama Town.
