Guided Tour of

Ama Town on E-bikes

One of the best ways to enjoy the dynamic scenery of the
islands is joining a guided e-bike (electric-assisted mountain
bikes) tour, where visitors can discover how the landscape is
connected to the locals’ daily lives. Guests can visit some of the
major tourist spots (Akiya Coast, Oki Shrine, Uzuka-mikoto
Shrine, Dōzen Caldera viewpoints) with a professional
English-speaking guide. While on the road, the guide and tour
participants communicate with each other using an intercom
system. It is a great way to explore the island for experienced
cyclists and beginners alike, as the e-bikes will assist the rider
across the terrain.

On this tour, a local English-speaking guide accompanies the visitor on a self-driving tour
or drives the visitor themselves. Transportation is by car or taxi. e guide can also lead the
visitor's way in a separate vehicle. e itineraries are tailored to the visitor's needs.

Duration: 3 or 5 hr
Price (3 hr, per person*): JPY 8,500 (car arrangements and driving done by the visitor)
JPY 17,000 (car arrangements and driving done by the guide)
Price (5 hr, per person*): JPY 13,500 (car arrangements and driving done by the visitor)
