Oki Kokubun-ji Temple Renge-e-mai Dances

[21 April] A precious intangible heritage of Japan.
It is a valuable performing art that has been handed down since the Heian period, and is a nationally designated important intangible folk cultural property.
A dedication performance is held on a special stage in front of the main hall of the temple on April 21st every year (one month after the anniversary of Kobo Daishi's death).
