- The Grave of Monk Mongaku, Who was exiled to Chiburijima Island in 1200
- In the second year of Shoji (1200), Mongaku was exiled to Chiburijima Island. He then practiced at Mongaku cave on Nishinoshima Island, but after his death, his friend Ando Tatewaki, who lived on Chiburijima Island, took possesion of his body and built a grave here, a great spot for history fans and for islanders it is also a place of worship where they pray for success in exams.
