Private Sea Kayaking Tour: Jōdogaura Coast (Fuse District)

    Set out on a sea journey in the Oki Islands with breathtaking views and crystal-clear waters!
    The Oki Islands have a diverse coastal landscape created by volcanic activity and erosion caused by the power of the Sea of Japan’s waves and seasonal winds over time.
    Sea kayaking is a great way to explore the dynamic and wild coastal scenery up close.

    Fuse Coast, which is located on the east side of Dōgo Island, is designated as a National Place of Scenic Beauty and also a Marine Park, making it a picturesque scenery representative of the islands.
    During the tour, visitors will get to experience dynamic and wild coastal scenery up close as they pass through an arch and islets.

    The water is crystal clear in summer. You are welcome to get into the water for a swim, too.

    The tour circles Fuse Coast from Fuse Fishing Port to Jōdogaura Coast.

    Other Courses:
    Kayaking in the calm bay: recommended for families with small children and those who are not comfortable with the open ocean

    Long-distance kayak touring: for experienced kayakers only

    Sunset hours are also available.

    Essential items
    Swimsuit, synthetic long-sleeve shirt (no cotton or jeans) or rashguard, water shoes or sandals with backstraps, hat, sunscreen, towel, drinks
    Recommended items: sunglasses, gloves, change of clothes, waterproof case or ziplock bags (if you bring your cell phone)
    No rental snorkeling gear available.
    Meeting place
    On-site (car park near the Fuse bus stop)
    To reach the site, you may rent a car, take a taxi, or use public transportation (bus).
    Additional notes
    ・Reservation required at least 2 days in advance.
    ・Please note that the tour is subject to cancellation or route change depending on weather
    conditions.
    ・When making a reservation, please provide a contact number or an e-mail address that can be reached the day before or on the day of the tour.
