We would like to inform you that Oki Kisen Co., Ltd. has announced a temporary change to its ferry and high-speed boat schedules during specific periods in 2025.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Ferries

Timetable Change Periods

  • June 17 (Tue) – July 18 (Fri), 2025
  • September 1 (Mon) – September 30 (Tue), 2025
  • November 4 (Tue) – December 20 (Sat), 2025

Overview of Changes

Ferry services will follow a revised schedule during these periods.

Please note if you had planned to take the 9:30 ferry from Shichirui Port (mainland) or the 15:15 ferry from Hishiura / 15:45 from Beppu, the schedule has changed.

High-Speed Boats

Timetable Change Period

  • July 19 (Sat) – August 8 (Fri), 2025

Overview of Changes

There will be 1 round trip (2 sailings) per day during this period.

Period of Operation: May 7 (Wed) – August 8 (Fri), 2025

Please be sure to check the service schedule for the day you plan to travel, as there may be slight differences to the routes depending on the day.

Please note that after May 6, the two round trips (four sailings) will only be available during the period of August 9 (Saturday) to August 17 (Sunday).

Getting Around the Oki Islands

The Oki Islands consist of two main regions: Dōgo Island (Okinoshima Town) and the Dōzen Islands (Ama Town, Nishinoshima Town, and Chibu Village).

Frequent inter-island ferries operate between the Dōzen Islands, but travel between Dōgo and Dōzen requires a ferry or high-speed boat, just like traveling from the mainland.

Revised Ferry Routes: From Mainland to Oki Islands

① Shichirui Port → via  Dōgo → Dōzen

  • Shichirui Port (mainland) – Dep. 9:00
  • Saigō Port (Okinoshima Town) – Arr. 11:25 / Dep. 12:00
  • Hishiura Port (Ama Town) – Arr. 13:10 / Dep. 13:20
  • Beppu Port (Nishinoshima Town) – Arr. 13:35

② Sakaiminato Port → via Dōzen → Dōgo

  • Sakaiminato Port (mainland) – Dep. 14:10
  • Kurii Port (Chibu Village) – Arr. 16:35 / Dep. 16:40
  • Beppu Port (Nishinoshima Town) – Arr. 17:10 / Dep. 17:20
  • Saigō Port (Okinoshima Town) – Arr. 18:35

① Dōgo → via Dōzen → Sakaiminato (Morning)

  • Saigō Port (Okinoshima Town) – Dep. 8:30
  • Hishiura Port (Ama Town) – Arr. 9:40 / Dep. 9:50
  • Beppu Port (Nishinoshima Town) – Arr. 10:05 / Dep. 10:20
  • Kurii Port (Chibu Village) – Arr. 10:50 / Dep. 10:55
  • Sakaiminato Port (mainland) – Arr. 13:20

② Dōzen → via Dōgo → Shichirui (Afternoon)

  • Hishiura Port (Ama Town) – Dep. 13:20
