Try the beloved local dishes, Oki soba noodles and "bakudan onigiri" (rice balls wrapped in seaweed) here!
Oki soba noodles are made using 100% buckwheat flour and water. Without any added biners, e.g. wheat flour, the noodles are very delicate and they break into shorter pieces, making it a totally different experience compared to eating other noodle soup dishes. Oki soba noodle is served with ago dashi broth, made using grilled flying fish, or grilled mackerel dashi broth, both rich in flavour.
"Bakudan Onigiri" are onigiri rice balls wrapped in a piece of lightly seared iwanori seaweed, coated with soy sauch. Aromatic and umami-rich, it is a dish long-loved by high school students!

The restaurant is located across the street from Mizuwakasu Shrine, so make sure to drop by!
