- Swim, snorkel and relax at the only natural sandy beach in Nishinoshima! Enjoy walking along the shore and over the rocky coast along the cliffs. The larger grocery store, Y-Shop, is about a 10-minute walk away. A smaller grocery store called Darumaya is closer to the beach. During the summer, the beach shop serves ice cream and other snacks.
Facilities (available during beach season only): running water, toilets, hot showers (JPY 200), changing rooms and parking area (limited space)

- *Wear marine shoes to protect your feet from sharp rocks and shells.
*Wear rash guards to protect yourselves from potential scrapes, sunburn and dangerous sea animals.
*Fishery rights are established in the waters of the Oki Islands. Do not collect abalone, sazae turban shells, sea urchins, etc. If you violate the rules, you may be punished for breaking the law.
*Cherish the environment and minimize your ecological impact when visiting the Oki Islands.
*Swimming in the nearby Funabiki Canal is strictly prohibited.
